Local Transport

Rail: Leyland Railway Station is served by Northern Rail, with trains connecting the town with important interchanges Preston, Liverpool, Manchester, Bolton and Chorley.

The station is situated on the West Coast Main Line - the primary route connecting London with Scotland and the north. Leyland Railway Station is situated on Golden Hill Lane, close to many of Leyland's main commercial areas, including Chapel Brow and the recent gasworks development containing outlets such as McDonalds, Lidl and Instore.
